Seriously? You were born in Portugal? Did I know this? You'd think I would have known this. I probably did once possess this information, before it disappeared along with my memories of French, counterpoint, and quadratic equations.
Actually I was born on a little island (9 mi. by 12 mi.) off the coast of Portugal in the Azores Islands on the tiny island of Tercera. There is an airfield on that island and my dad was stationed there - we left when I was 9 months old.
Do I have to send out some kind of memo to our ENTIRE family?!?!? How many times have I had to correct someone on this very simple question... when asked "Summer or Winter?" the answer is ALWAYS Summer!!!! HELLO?!?!?! You and I both know it is not a matter of seasons here. ;-)
