Why does it seem that "life" seems to happen all at once? Sometimes I feel like I'm coasting along, everything is going fine, a bump here and there but on the whole things are grand. Then WHAM out of nowhere LIFE comes at you from all directions.
Sick kids, a baby cutting teeth, financial belt tightening, sick husband, sick self, very ill father - all in one week. Happy New Year! So in keeping with my blog theme - seeing the rosy side I decided I would remind myself and share with you some of the beautiful blessings in my life.
A loving, caring, understanding husband
A sweet, compassionate, smart, beautiful daughter
An adorable, funny, musically inclined son
Getting advice from my Daddy
Hugs from my Mama
Parent still willing to bail me out of my stupidity
The atonement
Knowledge of resurrection and perfected bodies
Eternal families
Nana's giving nature and generous time
Hugs from my babies
Caring church leaders
Loving friends
Sharing joys in other's lives
Three beeps from Daddy
Siblings to laugh and cry with
My secret Santa & an upcoming Alan Jackson concert
Compassionate doctors
Blogs to keep in touch with far away friends
Rick & all he does
Good books for distraction
The Good Book for guidance & comfort
Good neighbors and friends & the occasional sci-fi night
Prayers of friends & family being felt
A sweet daughter that calls me "Pretty Mommy"
A blind husband that calls me "Beautiful"
There are many many more but I think I have helped myself to remember the blessings in my life. If any of you have a little extra time when you're on your knees please remember my Daddy and family in your prayers, they would be immensely appreciated.

Prayers coming your way. I love your list! And btw, thanks for turning me on to Fred Thompson. I gave him a second look because of what you said a while back, and I like what I see. Except for his "mandates" quip during one of the debates, lol!
LOVED this post... thanks for sharing. Hope you are all feeling better soon. Sorry about your dad.
